At Hospital Marina Mazatlán, critical care never stops. Our Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care Unit, led by Dr. Matías Eduardo Zazueta, a board-certified critical care specialist, operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a multidisciplinary team ready to provide specialized care to critically ill patients.
The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art life support technology and everything needed for the comprehensive management of patients with complex medical conditions who require close monitoring and specialized treatment.
Critical care medicine is a specialty that demands precision, experience and teamwork. Every patient in intensive care is treated by intensivists, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists and consulting specialists who work together to strive for the best possible outcome.

Our goal is to support each baby and their family through a stage that calls for specialized medical care, technology and, above all, a human touch.

Specialized care throughout your treatment
At Hospital Marina Mazatlán, we believe that caring for your health also means caring for how you feel during treatment. That’s why we created the CREAH Marina Mazatlán Hemodialysis Center, a space designed to provide specialized kidney care with advanced technology and a deeply human approach.
Led by Dr. Pablo Maggiani, a board-certified nephrologist, our center offers advanced hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy. Every session takes place in modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology, with a trained medical team to support you at every stage of your treatment.
Hemodialysis is a procedure that filters the blood when the kidneys cannot do so on their own, removing toxins and excess fluid from the body. At CREAH Marina Mazatlán, it is performed to high standards of quality, safety and comfort.

Precise images for reliable diagnoses
At Hospital Marina Mazatlán, quality care is also built on technology. That’s why we have added high-precision magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to our services: an imaging study that provides detailed diagnostic information without having to leave Mazatlán.
MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create high-resolution, three-dimensional images of the body’s soft tissues, providing information that other studies cannot. It is a noninvasive procedure that supports the diagnosis and treatment of many conditions.
An essential tool for the early detection and follow-up of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and oncologic conditions.
